As for Word, there is a new tab «Layout» for quick access to functions and an area «Object formatting». And, of course, one cannot help but note the visual changes — there are quite a lot of them. Excel for Mac gained support for Excel for Windows features, which were available back in 2013. Support for Windows keyboard shortcuts and an updated design are included. PowerPoint has updated its animation panel and slide collaboration features. Looks very nice. OneNote definitely needs no introduction — a very convenient note-taking solution. But the new Outlook began to support online archives, functions for comparing several calendars (less than a year has passed) and acquired many other capabilities.
Support for full screen mode with optimization for Retina displays will be a pleasant and appropriate innovation.
