Minimal Audio - Lucid v1.0.0 VST3 for Windows

• Real-Time Grain Scale-Lock: Automatically detects each individual grain's pitch and retunes it to your chosen musical key and scale in real time.
• Granular Timeline Synchronization: Stretch, freeze, reverse, snap to transients, or scrub through captured loops while staying locked to your DAW arrangement grid.
• Dedicated Per-Grain Multi-FX: Every grain is shaped independently by dedicated Grain Filter (10 modes + saturation), Grain Delay (pitch-shifted shimmer), and Grain Imager modules.
• Chord & Arp Grain Modes: Harmonize incoming monophonic signals into lush polyphonic chords or step grains through scale degrees for evolving rhythmic arpeggios.
• Animated XY Performance Pad: Dynamic modulation pad to perform and automate complex multi-parameter morphing trajectories in real time.
• Studio-Grade 8-Effect Post Rack: Modular 12-slot chain loaded with Reverb, Delay, Multi-band Compressor, Distortion, Filter, Chorus, Ring Mod, and Frequency Shifter.

The Musical Granular Effect of Your Dreams
Minimal Audio Lucid reimagines granular processing from an unpredictable experimental novelty into a deeply musical sound design instrument. By solving the traditional granular pitch-drift problem, Lucid retunes individual micro-grains to your project's harmonic scale, allowing you to generate lush vocal harmonies, shimmering guitar clouds, and syncopated synth rhythms that sit in key with your mix.

Whether fed synth leads, vocal runs, drum loops, or acoustic instruments, Lucid deconstructs incoming audio grain by grain and reassembles it into otherworldly textures, gated rhythms, and ambient soundscapes.

Interactive Waveform Display & Deep Modulation
Lucid features a timeline-locked visual display that tracks every active grain position across captured audio buffers. Powered by Minimal Audio's flagship modulation engine, you can map drag-and-drop LFOs, envelope followers, and custom drawable curve sequencers to any parameter across the granular core and post-effects rack.

Granular Engine & Playback Modes:

• Stretch Mode: Time-stretch, freeze, and reverse audio buffers synced to your DAW tempo grid.
• Scrub Mode: Freely scrub playback heads manually or automate them with customizable curve LFOs.
• Grain Blur: Intelligently smooths out digital artifacts and transient clicks during extreme pitch stretching.

Per-Grain Modules (Grain FX):

• Multi-Mode Grain Filter: 10 selectable filter topologies with independent resonance and analog saturation.
• Harmonic Grain Delay: Multi-tap delay equipped with scale-locked pitch shifting and diffusion reverb.
• Dynamic Grain Imager: Custom stereo panning patterns to generate wide, focused stereo soundscapes directly from grains.

Modulation & Preset Management:

• 6 Swappable Modulators (LFOs, Envelope Followers, and Drawable Curve Sequencers).
• Drag-and-drop modulation routing matrix.
• Over 350 track-ready factory presets categorized across 13 themed packs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

• Q: How does Lucid keep granular textures in key?
A: Lucid analyzes the fundamental pitch of each generated grain and quantizes it dynamically to the root note and scale selected in the plugin's Key menu.
• Q: Can I use Lucid as a real-time insert on live vocals or instruments?
A: Yes, Lucid operates as a real-time audio insert effect with ultra-low latency playback modes.
