Two sides of the legend

RealTele — are two different instruments based on one iconic design, — essentially two guitars in one. One is created for airiness and characteristic sound, the other — for concentration and saturation. Together they cover almost all the possibilities of this guitar — from vintage shine to dense modern drive.
RealTele Classic —this is the sound of the golden era: open, ringing top frequencies, the distinctive click of a bridge pickup, and slightly muted mid-frequencies that give the guitar a clear sound. These are country slang and Chicago blues, classic blues and rock and roll of the 50s–70s — the sound on which half of the history of popular music is based. Expressive and dynamic, it stands out from the track.
RealTele Modern —this is the same guitar reworked for modern production. The upper frequencies became smoother, the low middle frequencies — more complete, the response — denser and more controllable, but the nature of the instrument remained unchanged. At high amplification, the sound remains legible and collected, while in pure — parts it is more rounded and calm. This is a version for rock, pop and heavier genres — for parts that should fit into a tight mix where focus is more important than openness.

• What makes RealTele different from others
  12 sampler layers per fret. Each fret is recorded in 12 dynamic layers, from the lightest touches to sharp shots — a wide, smooth dynamic range that closely follows your play.
  The dynamics you control. The Velo tab shows exactly which layer is currently playing. The default speed curve is linear and spreads your game evenly across the range. In addition, you can turn off the loudest (Hard) or quietest (Soft) layers — separately for solos, stringing, mufflers and palm mufflers — depending on what response the part requires.
  A real golden mean. Both single pickups are sampled separately, as always, but on a physical Telecaster, turning them on at the same time — is not just the sum of two sounds: they interact and change each other's character. So we've highlighted the middle position (Both) as a separate pickup combination so you can get a sound that sounds like a separate color rather than a digital mix.
  Timbre adjuster — as on a real guitar. High-pass filter that smoothes out high frequencies. Because it is positioned in front of the effects chain, it shapes the sound in the same way as a timbre adjuster on a real guitar: a denser sound on high-gain presets and a softer — on clean ones.
  New strumming mechanism. RealTele uses our new strumming mechanism, first introduced in RealGMS. It provides smoother transitions between chords, a more realistic string sound, and a feel that naturally responds to your playing.
• Where RealTele comes in handy
  You play keyboards, not guitar. The track requires a real electric guitar, but no guitarist. You want to play this part yourself, on the keyboards, and make it sound like a Telecaster, not like a synthesizer pretending to be a guitar.
  You write and produce at DAW. Songs, demos, beats. You want a believable guitar part that can be quickly created from chords and rhythmic patterns, or played directly in DAW and left as an editable MIDI.
  You perform live. On stage, solo or as part of a band, you need real-time guitar parts — iconic stage guitar under your fingers, without having to hire a second guitarist.
  You work in genres typical of Telecaster. Country and Americana, blues and rock and roll — on the vintage side; classic and indie rock, pop, modern high-gain guitar sound — on the other. RealTele offers both options: Classic for vintage sound, Modern for modern production.
  You play the guitar. You still reach for it: to record a part faster than you can mix, when your hands can't keep up with the idea, when you need Tele for a track that you don't have, or when you need a clean take.
• Library of Presets
  Raw guitar — is only half the sound. The second half — is an amplifier and effects, and adjusting these parameters — is not an easy task even for guitarists. This is what our library of presets is for: 350 ready-made timbres, inspired by legendary performers and recordings that shaped popular music. Each one is a complete setup (amplifier, cabinet and effects) that can be triggered with a single click, and the number continues to grow. Nothing is a «black box»: every parameter is left open, so preset — is either a ready-made sound or a starting point for your own. • Techniques and management
  To record an authentic guitar part, samples alone are not enough; many guitar-specific techniques are required, which are imitated in RealTele. Whether you're playing live or programming a digital audio workstation, these moves can be controlled using special gestures, switches, keystroke speed, modulation wheel, sustain pedal, key aftertouch, MIDI CC, DAW parameter automation, and any combinations thereof.
• Chord sound
  The chordal sound of a guitar is unique depending on its design, and must be played to achieve an authentic chordal sound. Our patented technology provides accurate automatic reproduction of the guitar chord sound for 30 chord types in all existing addresses, extensions and alterations.
• Rhythmic patterns
  To record authentic accompaniment, most session guitarists carefully study the characteristic rhythmic parts for the desired style. We created a huge library of rhythms consisting of 1250 patterns. It can be easily used to quickly create guitar accompaniment parts in DAW or in our built-in Song sequencer.
• Realism
  Sophisticated humanization algorithms modify samples, performance techniques and control parameters, timing and string-picking aspects to achieve maximum realism in guitar parts. This helps to bring digital simulations of guitar playing as close as possible to an analog recording of a best-in-class session guitarist.
