Step 1: Install the Plugin

1. Run Setup Ivory v3.0.8.exe to install the software.

Important: Do NOT open or run the plugin after the installation finishes.

Step 2: Configure the Library Folder 2. Move the Ivory Library folder to a convenient location on your computer.

Note: Ensure the file path to this location does NOT contain any Cyrillic characters.

1. Open the newly placed Ivory Library folder and run Ivory Library Placer.exe (running as Administrator is recommended). This tells the player where to find your default library folder.

Step 3: Transfer Library Files 4. Copy the contents of your downloaded libraries into the Ivory Library folder.

CRITICAL: Do NOT copy the library folders themselves. You must copy only the contents inside them—specifically the .ivorylib files, .ivorylib3 files, and the Presets folder—directly into the main Ivory Library directory.

1. If your file explorer asks if you want to overwrite existing files, confirm the overwrite.

FAQ & Troubleshooting:

• Q: My DAW is blacklisting the VST3 plugin. What do I do?
  A: This usually means the R2R emulator was blocked or quarantined by Windows Defender. Add an exclusion for your VST3 folder and the R2R emulator directory, reinstall the emulator, and force a plugin rescan in your DAW.
• Q: I am getting "Library not found" errors upon loading.
  A: Ensure your Ivory Items folder is correctly mapped in the Ivory 3 settings page and that you have downloaded the actual sample library, not just the plugin shell.
• Q: I am experiencing audio dropouts when playing fast arpeggios or pressing the sustain pedal.
  A: Ivory 3 is incredibly demanding on disk read speeds due to the RGB engine. Make sure the library is housed on an internal NVMe SSD (not an external USB drive), and try increasing your audio interface's ASIO buffer size.
