Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Install DAW:

   • Run Ableton Live 12 Suite Installer.exe as Administrator (Right-click -> Run as administrator).
   • Follow the setup wizard and complete the core installation.

2. Apply Cracked Binary (vcruntime140_1.dll):

   • Copy the custom vcruntime140_1.dll file provided in the R2R release.
   • Paste it directly into the program's installation directory:
     C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Suite\Program\
   • ⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING: Never attempt to place or overwrite vcruntime140_1.dll in the Windows system directory (C:\Windows\System32\). Doing so will destabilize your operating system.

3. Offline Hardware Authorization:

   • Launch Ableton Live 12 Suite.
   • When the authorization window appears, click "No internet on this computer".
   • Copy your "Your hardware code" from the resulting window (tip: click "Save" to export it as a text file for easy copying).
   • Run the R2R keygen utility (WM_Ableton.r2rwm), paste your hardware code, click GENERATE, and save the generated license file named Authorize.auz.

4. Register License:

   • Drag and drop Authorize.auz directly into Ableton's offline authorization window.
   • Alternative Method: If drag-and-drop fails, close Ableton Live, right-click the Authorize.auz file, select "Open with", and choose Ableton Live Suite.

5. Post-Setup Maintenance & Security:

   • Antivirus Exclusion: Antivirus scanners frequently mistake modified runtime DLLs (vcruntime140_1.dll) for threats and quarantine them. Add your Ableton installation folder to your antivirus exclusion list before launching.
   • Disable Auto-Updates: To prevent updates from breaking your activation status, disable automatic updates inside the app via:
