The fourth version of the instrument features a new library with fingerpicking techniques, recorded using a guitar Gibson Les Paul 1959 Reissue.

Ample Sound released an update to version 4.0.0 for the entire guitar line: AGL, AGM, AGSJ, AGT, AG12, AGLP, AGPF, AGRB, AGSC, AGSH, AGTC, AGVC, AME and AMH.
• AGLP: The library of samples is supplemented with a finger method of sound production, recorded on the legendary one Gibson Les Paul R9 (3.6 GB of new samples)
• A completely new system of chords and strumming. Innovative feature Strum Note combines the notes of a chord into a single element, providing overall control over parameters such as duration of sound production, cycling and legato. Combined with authentic fingering settings, this makes the process of creating guitar combat more intuitive and effective, providing results as close as possible to live performance
• Two display modes. Instant switching between piano roll and tablature in real time — a unique opportunity that provides two different ways to view and edit your compositions
• String visualization system. Now the strings are displayed directly in the piano roll. This solution allows you to write MIDI parts that correspond to real performance techniques: the system automatically prevents polyphony on one string and selects the ideal fingering. As a result, MIDI sound becomes more realistic and closer to live performance
• Intuitive editing of execution techniques. Easily program fingering, articulation, legato and expression without the need for key switches or complex MIDI CC programming
• New MIDI CC and Cycling Editors. View and edit multiple MIDI CC tracks simultaneously using different colors and transparency levels. Ready-made presets of curves allow instant application of expressive automation
• Full support for MIDI import/export. Provides identical reproduction both when importing external MIDI files and when exporting from Riffer in MIDI or DAW instrumental tracks
• Huge collection of riffs. Hundreds of brand new guitar riffs to drive creativity and speed up the workflow
• Riffer 4. MIDI editor designed specifically for stringed plucked instruments
• Tab Reader 4. Compatible with Guitar Pro formats (GP3 to GP8). Import guitar parts directly into Riffer with all the nuances of live performance, fingering, articulations and other parameters
• Ample Sound 4 engine. Improved audio processing performance and efficiency
• Brand new interface design in 5 K resolution
• Completely recycled presets. All presets were reworked for a more polished sound. Each preset comes with a demo from Riffer, so you can quickly appreciate the sound and catch the wave of inspiration
Ample Sound released an update to version 3.7.0 for the entire guitar line: AGL, AGM, AGSJ, AGT, AG12, AGLP, AGPF, AGSC, AGSH, AGTC, AGVC, AME and AMH.
