Recorded within the cavernous stone acoustic space of St. Michael's Church, each session focused on breath, human imperfection, and sustained harmonic resonance. Rather than behaving purely as a virtual singer, Vestral Voices operates as an expressive ambient pad synthesizer built entirely from organic human vocal anatomy.

Light vs. Dark Paradigms
The library organizes its sample pool into two contrasting aesthetic worlds:

• The Light layer presents vocalists up close—raw, breathing, and resonant—capturing delicate overtones and holy hall reflections.
• The Dark layer feeds those same pristine captures through degradation chains: analog cassette warmth, granular pitch shifting, Bit-crush degradation, and tape saturation, yielding distant, broken, and unnerving musical textures.

Compatibility Notice:

• This is an unencrypted third-party library. It does not feature an official .nicnt serial activation code and will not appear in the Native Access software manager.
• Requires the Full Retail Version of Native Instruments Kontakt (v6.7.1, v7, or v8+).
• If loaded inside the free Kontakt Player, it will run in time-limited Demo Mode (15-minute timeout).

Installation Steps:

1. Extract the downloaded library archive to your dedicated sample storage drive (e.g., D:\Sample Libraries\Occult Audio - Vestral Voices\).
2. Launch Native Instruments Kontakt (Full Version) within your DAW or in Standalone mode.
3. Because this is an open unencrypted library, load patches using one of the following methods:
   • Method A (Quick-Load / File Browser): Open Kontakt's left-hand Files browser tab, navigate to the folder, and double-click any .nki instrument patch.
   • Method B (Drag-and-Drop): Drag any .nki file directly from Windows Explorer / macOS Finder onto Kontakt's open rack.
   • Method C (Kontakt Portable Library Manager): If using Kontakt Portable, use the included Library Manager to generate an entry for quick browsing in the Classic/NKS sidebar.
4. Set your MIDI keyboard to transmit on CC1 (Modulation) to control the dynamic morphing between the Light and Dark vocal layers.
