Meet SpectraLayers 13: the newest update to Steinberg’s spectral editing and audio separation app. Along with a new set of voice separation tools and a post-processing spectral resynthesis module, this update makes it easier than ever to extract short sounds from continuous background noise.
1.Preparation and Cleanup: Removes conflicting background processes.- Remove Network Block Runtime: If you previously installed TEAM R2R Network Block Runtime, uninstall it now by running unins000.exe located in C:\Program Files\TEAM R2R\Network Block Runtime.
- Remove Old Versions: Uninstall any previous versions of SpectraLayers (highly recommended by R2R to prevent conflicts).
2.Install Core Emulators: Skip this step if R2R System v1.5.0 and Silk Emulator v1.5.0 are already installed.1. Run TEAM R2R System v1.5.0.exe.
2. Run Setup Steinberg Silk Emulator v1.5.0.exe.
3.Restart Operating System: Crucial for system-level emulator changes.Reboot your computer before proceeding any further.
4.Install MediaBay: Skip if Steinberg Mediabay 1.3.80 is already installed.Run the installer for Steinberg Mediabay. This is strictly required for the SpectraLayers content browser to function properly.
5.Install SpectraLayers 13: Run Setup SpectraLayers 13 v13.0.10.449.exe to install the main program.
Important: If you plan to use this software as a plugin inside a DAW (ARA integration), make sure you check the box to install the VST3 version during this setup process.
6.Add Program Modules: Navigate to the Steinberg.SpectraLayers.Models.R2R folder included in your download and copy/install those modules into the program directory so SpectraLayers has the necessary audio processing models to function.
