Oeksound soothe2 is an intelligent resonance suppression plugin that uses heuristic algorithms and dynamic filtering to transparently remove unwanted frequencies from vocals, guitars, synths, and more. It operates across the entire frequency spectrum to eliminate low-end rumble and high-end harshness. Users can isolate and listen to the removed frequencies, and fine-tune the effect using a robust set of controls, including processing speed, dry/wet mix, side-chaining, Mid/Side processing, and dual intensity modes (hard/soft).
Scenario A: The GUI opens but has graphical glitches
- Open the soothe2 plugin in your DAW.
- Navigate to the config (settings) menu.
- Toggle OpenGL to Off.
Scenario B: The GUI is completely black, won't open, or crashes your DAW
- Locate the
disableOpenGL.xmlfile that was included with your soothe2 installation files. - Open Windows File Explorer and paste the following path into the address bar:
%PROGRAMDATA%\oeksound\soothe2\ - Copy the
disableOpenGL.xmlfile and paste it into this folder. - When prompted, choose to overwrite/replace the existing file.
(Note: %PROGRAMDATA% is a hidden system folder in Windows, usually located at C:\ProgramData.)
