During a grueling final test known as the "Death March," what appears to be an asteroid crashes into the remote training area. It is soon revealed to be a towering, heavily armed alien war machine. The recruits are violently hunted down by the relentless entity in a frantic fight for survival. 81 is forced to step up and lead the remaining recruits, learning the true meaning of leadership as they use their tactical training and the environment to lure the machine into a deadly trap, only to discover it is merely the vanguard of a global alien invasion.
