Command-line switches for automated or unattended deployment:

Syntax Example:
MathType.exe /S /RU /D=C:\Program Files\MathType
Installation Steps:
- Close all active instances of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook before proceeding.
- Run the setup executable (or launch via command line with the
/Sflag for silent installation). - If supplied as a separate archive, apply the included patch to the installation directory (
C:\Program Files (x86)\MathType\orC:\Program Files\MathType\). - (Optional) Run/import
Settings.regto set default preferences, measurement units, and interface localization. - Launch Microsoft Word or the standalone MathType editor to confirm proper ribbon integration and activation status.
