Modular Creative Sampling Reimagined
PAM by MAP Audio moves beyond static sample playback by turning 8 independent cells into an interconnected rhythmic and melodic synthesizer. Each cell functions as an expressive instrument equipped with granular time-stretching, dynamic pitch shifting, transient extraction, and localized DSP processing.

By bridging traditional step sequencing with tracker-style vertical programming and live audio looping, PAM fits equally into experimental sound design, complex IDM drum programming, hip-hop slicing, and live performance improvisation.

Interconnected Modulation Matrix
PAM's true power lies in its modulation architecture. Six global LFOs and per-parameter attack/decay envelopes can be assigned across cells, allowing one cell’s transient to sidechain-modulate another cell’s filter resonance, sample start position, or distortion drive. With the CtrlAll macro system and A/B crossfader, entire multi-track performances can be morphed and reshaped in real time.

• Create New Preset from Variation: Export any selected variation slot as a standalone user preset with all active samples automatically copied into the user library.
• Preset Browser Multi-Column Layout:
  • Filter library presets by Pack name.
  • Sort preset lists by clicking header columns.
  • Right-click column headers to customize visible metadata: Category, Pack, Author, BPM, Variations, and Saved Date.

Fixes & Stability Updates:

• CTRL Swing and Retrigger settings now respect excluded cells, as do cross-cell Resonator voicing edits.
• Fixed a bug where slices played in Trigger mode from the slice sequencer ran past slice boundaries or jumped to the main slice knob value.
• Soloed cells no longer dim visually as if muted.
• Fixed Crusher bit-depth knob displaying fractional numbers (now cleanly steps from 1 to 16 bits).
• Eliminated transition timing shifts when switching variations into or out of Pitch, Wavefold, or Transient split modes by reserving DSP latency upfront.
• Fixed early firing bugs when variation or section transitions coincided with audio buffer boundaries.
• Resolved issue where Looper tracks cleared, loaded, or warped during preset background loading restored stale audio clips.
• Touchscreen improvement: modulation source menus no longer close prematurely on touch release.
• Fixed dice buttons in the LFO, Envelope, Vary, and Param Seq panels ignoring global Randomize amount limits.

Installation Steps:

1. Prerequisite:

   • Ensure you have the latest TEAM R2R System installed on your system.

2. Base Installation:

   • Run the installer and select your preferred formats (Standalone, VSTi3, CLAP).
   • Complete the setup wizard.

3. Activation:

   • Register the software using the included WM_MAPAudio.r2rwm module through the Team R2R registration utility.
   • Note for Existing Users: If an earlier version of PAM was previously installed and activated via R2R, simply install this update directly over the existing installation. Re-registration is not required.

4. Factory Library Setup:

   • Extract and place the Factory Content folder into your preferred sample directory and link it within PAM's preset browser.

5. Launch PAM in Standalone mode or load the instrument plugin inside your DAW.
