Plugin Alliance - ADPTR MetricAB v1.5.0 VST3,VSTi3,AAX for Windows

• Up to 16 Simultaneous Reference Tracks: Load multiple commercial masters and switch between them and your live DAW mix with seamless zero-latency crossfading.
• Intelligent Loudness & Level Matching: Eliminates the "louder is better" psychoacoustic bias with 4 advanced level-matching algorithms (Peak, RMS, LUFS Integrated, LUFS Short-Term).
• RAM Playback & Seamless Looping: Reference audio files are loaded directly into RAM for ultra-responsive scrubbing, instant switching, and smooth section looping.
• Precision Spectrum & Filter Isolation: Click directly on the real-time analyzer graph to isolate frequency bands or create instant 2-octave band-pass listening filters.
• Comprehensive Visual Analysis Suite: Real-time Spectrum Analyzer, Stereo Correlation / Vector Scope, Dynamic Crest Factor meter, and Peak/RMS/LUFS metering.
• 4 Flexible Sync & Playback Modes: Latch, Cue, Sync (tempo/bar locked to DAW timeline), and Manual triggering.
• Global Synchronization Offset: Shift timeline synchronization across multiple reference tracks simultaneously with a single offset adjustment.

The Gold Standard in Mix Referencing and A/B Comparison
ADPTR Audio Metric AB removes acoustic guesswork and monitoring bias from the mixing and mastering process. Instead of creating convoluted routing chains or cluttering your DAW timeline with imported reference stems, Metric AB places up to 16 reference tracks right on your master bus.

With a single click or keyboard shortcut, switch instantly between your active mix and commercial target tracks. By automatically matching perceived loudness, Metric AB lets you objectively evaluate tonal balance, sub-bass weight, stereo width, and dynamic punch against the best productions in the industry.

Comprehensive Diagnostic Metering
Metric AB provides 5 specialized analysis screens: Spectrum (frequency balance comparison), Stereo (mono compatibility, correlation, and stereo spread), Dynamics (transient punch and dynamic range density), Loudness (EBU R128 / ITU-R BS.1770 LUFS targets), and Phase. Whether mastering for streaming platforms or balancing a dense mix, Metric AB ensures your sound translates across all playback environments.

Feature Improvements & Additions:

• Custom Display Layouts: Added selectable viewing modes across analysis pages (One-Level, Two-Level, and Multi-Level layouts).
• Interactive Graph Filter Switching: Click anywhere on the analysis graph to audition that specific frequency window; drag and scroll to resize the filter band in real time.
• Global Start Offset Sync Mode: Apply a unified playback time offset across all loaded reference tracks simultaneously.
• Integrated LUFS Metering: Added direct LUFS numeric readouts to the output meter and compact UI view.
• RAM Playback Engine: Complete RAM-cached playback architecture for stutter-free looping and faster waveform navigation.

Workflow & GUI Enhancements:

• Reference player now preserves user cues, loop boundaries, and playback modes when replacing audio files.
• Improved graphical rendering pipeline utilizing Windows Direct2D and macOS Core Graphics.
• Increased waveform display resolution when zooming in for micro-edits.
• Filter bank configuration export and save options added directly to the filter context menu.
• Optimized Track Slot menu click hitboxes for faster navigation.
• Fixed histogram positioning to remain stable during track thread switching.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue causing black bars during screen set switching in Apple Logic.
• Fixed a bug where saved preset names reverted to "Default" upon project recall.
• Fixed OS file browser naming bugs during "Save As" actions.
• Resolved logic stability failures when saving DAW project sessions.

Key Analysis Pages & Reference Tools:

• Loudness & Metering Module:

  • True Peak, RMS, Crest Factor, Dynamic Range (DR), and ITU-R BS.1770-4 / EBU R128 LUFS (Momentary, Short-Term, Integrated).
  • Target LUFS markers calibrated for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Broadcast standards.

• Spectrum Comparison Page:

  • Dual-curve FFT overlay comparing the live DAW signal against selected reference tracks.
  • Multi-octave listening filters to audition frequency brackets (Low Sub, Mid Punch, High Shimmer).

• Stereo Image & Correlation Matrix:

  • Goniometer, Lissajous vector display, and multi-band stereo width meters to identify mono phase cancellation.

• Dynamics Visualizer:

  • Visual histogram tracking transient preservation, compression density, and peak-to-average ratio.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

• Q: Where should Metric AB be placed in the signal chain?
A: Place Metric AB on your Master/Main Output track after all mastering processors and limiters. When referencing, it will compare your post-master output against uncompressed commercial files.
• Q: Why should I enable RAM Playback?
A: RAM Playback preloads reference tracks into system memory, ensuring instantaneous, gapless switching between references and your mix without disk I/O lag.
• Q: How do I match loudness automatically?
A: Click the Match button on the bottom panel; Metric AB will calculate the average loudness of your active mix and offset the reference volume slider accordingly.
