BOOM Library – ROAD RAGE DESIGNED (WAV)

• 90 Pre-Assembled Designed Sequences: Fully layered, finished vehicle collision and destruction events ready to drop directly into cinematic timelines and game engines.
• Dual Perspectives (Interior & Exterior): Car and truck crash events are delivered with acoustically matched exterior and interior perspectives to ensure smooth continuity when scene cuts move inside the cabin.
• Multi-Vehicle Dynamics: Covers 6 car types (from compact cars to SUVs), 2 heavy truck types, and 2 agile motorcycle models.
• Comprehensive Event Types: Head-on collisions, complex rollovers, single rollovers, roof crushing, side scrapes, and rear-end impacts.
• Three-Phase Recording Process: Combines pristine studio component isolation, heavy scrapyard machinery collisions, and high-energy crane drop impacts.
• Broadcast Audio Standard: Mastered in 24-bit / 96 kHz high-resolution audio for extreme pitch shifting, time stretching, and processing without aliasing.
• UCS Metadata Embedded: Fully tagged with Universal Category System (UCS) metadata for fast search and indexing in Soundminer, BaseHead, Soundly, and DAW media bays.

Granular Precision for Realistic Crash Sequences
Most sound effect libraries provide generic, finished crash impacts that play out as a single wide wall of noise. In narrative film, television post-production, and game audio, however, crash sequences require precise physical storytelling—such as the distinct snap of a door panel shearing against a concrete barrier, a structural pillar giving way, or safety glass shattering under torsion.

BOOM Library ROAD RAGE DESIGNED solves this by taking granular, isolated damage elements and assembling them into realistic, staged collisions. Built from hundreds of component recordings—including studio-isolated part breaks, scrapyard collisions using heavy equipment, and full-vehicle crane drops—these designed sequences deliver visceral, screen-accurate destruction.

Seamless Perspective Matching
A common challenge in action editing is transitioning audio between outside coverage and inside-the-cockpit drama. For all car and truck sequences, ROAD RAGE DESIGNED delivers matched pairs of exterior and interior perspectives for every crash event. An edit that cuts from a highway view into the passenger seat maintains consistent vehicle weight, impact timing, and acoustic character without sonic disruption.

Included Content & Vehicle Types (90 Files | 360 Sounds | 1.2 GB):

• Six Car Types (Compact to Full-Size SUV):

  • Events: Head-on collisions, single rollovers, multi-axis complex rollovers, roof crushes, and metal scrapes.
  • Perspectives: Dual-perspective delivery (synchronized Exterior and Interior cabin recordings).

• Two Truck Types (Heavy Commercial & Utility):

  • Massive structural deformation, heavy chassis bending, suspension stress, and high-inertia impacts.
  • Delivered in both interior cab and exterior listening perspectives.

• Two Motorcycle Types (Street & Agile Sport):

  • Events: Head-on impacts, rear collisions, high-speed scrapes, and tumbling rollovers.
  • Delivered exclusively from the exterior perspective to match cinematic camera framing for light, agile vehicles.

Integration & Sound Editing Tips:

1. Direct Timeline Drop-in: Import the 90 WAV files into your sound library manager (Soundminer, Soundly, BaseHead) or DAW audio pool.
2. Camera Perspective Switching: When editing an accident scene where the visual camera cuts from an exterior tracking shot into the cabin, align the corresponding Interior and Exterior versions of the same crash event on adjacent tracks and cut between them at the edit boundary.
3. Pitch & Time Manipulation: Because all assets were captured and mastered at 96 kHz, you can pitch the files down by 1 to 2 octaves in your DAW or sampler to create colossal, slow-motion impacts without losing high-frequency detail.
