reFX - Afro House [Nexus Expansion]

Step 1: Move Content to the Nexus Library

• What to do: Copy the NKS, Presets, and Samples folders from your download.
• Where to put them: Paste them directly into your main Nexus Content Library folder. This is the directory you chose when you first installed Nexus.
  • Default Windows location: C:\Users\Public\Documents\reFX\Nexus Content
  • Default Mac location: Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/reFX/Nexus Content
  • (Note: Many producers install this on an external hard drive to save space, so yours may be located elsewhere).

Step 2: Install the Expansion Artwork (.svg)
The .svg file provides the visual thumbnail image for the expansion inside the Nexus browser. The target folder for this file is hidden by the operating system by default, so use the shortcuts below to find it.

For Windows:

1. Press Win + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
2. Type %appdata% and press Enter. (This acts as a shortcut to jump directly into the hidden AppData\Roaming directory).
3. From there, open reFX > cloud > cache > images.
4. Paste your .svg file into the images folder.

For macOS:

1. Open Finder.
2. In the top menu bar, click on Go.
3. Hold down the Option (⌥) key on your keyboard. You will see a hidden Library option appear in the dropdown menu. Click it.
4. From there, open Application Support > reFX > cloud > cache > images.
5. Paste your .svg file into the images folder.
