Software developer reFX introduced a new version of the popular Nexus rompler, which received a completely redesigned design and layout of control elements, improved performance and an updated library.
reFX Nexus 3 has three columns for preset and folder navigation, settings for labels and bookmarks, the ability to add tools to favorites, and save custom presets. Each sound can now be pre-listened to before use, and tools can be searched by tags or names. The plugin acquired a new arpeggiator with an increased pattern length, a modified effects section (equalizer, filter, reverberator, dile, limiter) with an visualizer and a newly developed sequencer.
Other features of the Nexus 3 include: scalable interface, Nexus 2 compatibility, 16,000 instrumental presets, 160 GB library. The program can run in AU, VST and VST3 formats and supports most popular workstations.
