Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Install Waves Central:

   • Open folder 1 - Installer.
   • Run the Waves Central setup wizard and complete installation.

2. Deploy Plugins Offline:

   • Launch Waves Central.
   • Select Offline Installer.
   • Browse to the Waves directory inside 1 - Installer.
   • Select the desired plugins or choose the complete Waves Ultimate bundle.
   • Click Install and wait for package deployment to complete.

3. Apply Activation Patch:

   • Make sure Waves Central and your DAWs are completely closed.
   • Run Waves Ultimate 2025.3 patch.exe as Administrator (Right-click -> Run as administrator).
   • Follow patch instructions until success confirmation appears.

4. Launch your DAW, perform a complete VST/VST3/AAX plugin rescan, and begin mixing.

If upgrading from an earlier Waves version, perform a clean removal to avoid WaveShell conflicts:

1. Terminate Background Services:

   • Open Windows Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc).
   • Under Background Processes, terminate WavesLocalServer.exe and WavesPluginServer.exe.

2. Uninstall Software:

   • Uninstall previous versions of Waves Central using Windows Control Panel or an uninstaller tool (e.g., Revo Uninstaller).

3. Delete Residual Directories:

   • C:\Program Files\Waves Central
   • C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\WaveShell*

   • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Waves Central

4. Clean Registry Key:

   • Open regedit and remove:
     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Waves

5. Reboot Windows before proceeding with a fresh installation.
